How to Play Crossclimb
WordSolve the clues and build a word ladder that changes one letter at a time.

- Five middle rungs each have their own crossword-style clue.
- Reorder the middle rungs so every adjacent pair differs by exactly one letter.
- The top and bottom rungs unlock once the middle is solved and ordered.
- Top and bottom share one combo clue and each differs by one letter from the adjacent middle word.
Controls
- Click a row and type to fill in letters. When a row is full, focus moves to the next row automatically.
- Use the up/down arrows beside a middle row to move it one step, or click and hold the = handle between them and drag up or down to reorder freely.
- Select a row to see its clue in the panel below.
- Hint reveals one letter at a time in the selected row; Reveal row fills the whole word.
- Reset scrambles the middle rungs and clears your answers.
Tips
- Solve the middle clues first, then experiment with order before filling the ends.
- If two middle words differ by more than one letter, they are not adjacent in the ladder.
