Solution
This Patches board is 6×6 with 6 numbered clues, 6 of which specify a required area. Shape hints on this puzzle include square, any, wide proportions, which restrict how wide or tall each rectangle can be. Each rectangle must contain exactly one clue cell, rectangles cannot overlap, and together they must tile the full grid with no gaps. Players usually solve the most constrained clues first—large areas or strict shapes—then fill the remaining space around them. The solution tab shows every rectangle placement and how the grid is fully partitioned.
