Kingshot Mystic Trial Guide

Six-room weekly PvE rotation, starter formations per room, loss tuning, and Trial Crystal shop priorities.

Mystic Trial is a weekly six-room PvE rotation. Each room emphasizes a different progression system, but Expedition combat skills still matter across the mode. Bring real combat heroes, read the battle report, and tune your troop split around what is actually dying — not a pure stat spreadsheet.

Quick takeaway: Start with the room's starter ratio below, then adjust after each loss. If your frontline collapses, add Infantry first.

Event basics

How Mystic Trial works

Six rooms on a weekly schedule — each tests a different account system.

Format

Weekly PvE

Six rotating rooms. Expedition combat skills apply — not a pure stat check.

Unlock

TC 19+ (typical)

Can stay locked on young kingdoms above TC 19. City progress + kingdom age matter.

First wall

~Stage / Round 10

Where many players need a tankier Infantry-heavy variant.

Power check

Radiant Spire

Sunday room — better real combat comparison than raw power alone.

Principles

Key tuning rules

  • Posted room ratios are useful openers, not guaranteed best builds.
  • If your frontline disappears too fast, add more Infantry before bigger changes.
  • Strong stat skew matters — if one troop type is ahead on gear, research, charms, pets, or Governor Gear, lean slightly into that type.
  • Later rooms unlock with linked systems: Forest of Life (Pets), Crystal Cave (Charms), Molten Fort (Governor Gear), Knowledge Nexus (War Academy / TG Dust).

Schedule

Weekly rotation & starter ratios

Infantry / Cavalry / Archers. Enemy exact splits aren't worth overfitting — add Infantry when your backline gets exposed early.

Tuning

How to adjust after a loss

  1. 1

    Start with the room default

Use the starter ratio from the table above.

  2. 2

    Infantry dies first

    Move 5–10% into Infantry.

  3. 3

Frontline holds but enemy won't drop

Move 5–10% from Cavalry into Archers or your strongest troop type.

  4. 4

    Account skew is large

Bias toward your strongest troop type instead of forcing the published default.

  5. 5

    Retry small changes

Close losses often flip with better skill timing and battle RNG.

Shop

Trial Shop priorities

Buy for your bottleneck — same priority order as the broader Kingshot shop guide.

PriorityItemWhen to buy
1TG DustOnce it appears in your Trial Shop
2Save Trial CrystalsIf TG Dust has not appeared yet — don't spend on filler
3MithrilOnce Red Gear checkpoints are relevant or close
4Gear XP PartsAfter TG Dust and Mithril
5Charm DesignsWhen available
6Mythic Shards / Gold Gear ChestsOnly with leftover crystals and a specific build target
TG Dust is the headline buy once it appears. If it hasn't unlocked in your shop yet, hoard Trial Crystals instead of spending on filler.

Rankings

Why players care about Trial rankings

Players frequently use Mystic Trial — especially Radiant Spire on Sunday — as a cleaner comparison tool than raw power. Power can be inflated by troop count. Trial results better estimate real combat investment across heroes, gear, pets, charms, and research.

Avoid these

Common mistakes

MistakeWhy it hurts
Treating posted ratios as permanentThey're openers — adjust after each loss
Ignoring Infantry deaths at stage 10First major wall usually needs a tankier variant
Forcing default ratios over account skewBias toward your strongest troop type when gear/research differs
Spending Trial Crystals before TG Dust unlocksSave until TG Dust appears or you have a clear bottleneck buy
Judging accounts by raw power onlyRadiant Spire reflects real combat investment better than troop count

Cheat sheet

Quick reference

  1. 1Use room starter ratios — adjust after losses, not before

  3. 3Bias toward your strongest troop type when account skew is large
  4. 4Trial Shop: TG Dust → Mithril → Gear XP → Charm Designs
