Castle Battle is a 5-hour biweekly King's Castle PvP event. Win by holding the castle for 2.5 consecutive hours or by finishing with the longest total occupation time. Points come from active combat, casualties, and occupation power. What separates winning alliances from losing ones is rarely raw power — turret control, rally timing measured in seconds, and how fast you batch heal troops back into the fight matter more than spending.

Schedule
Biweekly Saturdays
First battle ~day 54 of your server. Zoom out, tap King's Castle for the exact countdown.
Duration
Up to 5 hours
Instant win at 2.5 consecutive hours held. Otherwise highest total occupation time wins.
Format
Alliance PvP
Internal (within kingdom) or KvK (kingdom vs kingdom during Kingdom of Power).
Structures
Castle + 4 turrets
Each enemy-held turret fires 2% casualties per cycle on your castle garrison.
| Rule | What it means |
|---|---|
| Event length | Up to 5 hours per battle |
| Instant win | Hold King's Castle for 2.5 consecutive hours |
| Time win | Highest total occupation time if no instant win |
| Structures | 1 central castle + 4 surrounding turrets |
| Attack formation | 50% Infantry / 20% Cavalry / 30% Archers |
| Garrison formation | 60% Infantry / 20% Cavalry / 20% Archers |
| Turret damage | Each enemy-held turret fires 2% casualties per cycle |
| Troop loss risk | Hospital overflow turns 30% of wounded into permanent losses |
Win conditions
Two ways to win
Most competitive battles go to time — you're accumulating minutes across the whole window.
Instant win
Hold the castle for 2.5 consecutive hours without interruption. This ends the event immediately, regardless of time remaining.
Time-based win
If no alliance hits 2.5 hours, the event runs the full 5 hours. The alliance with the highest total cumulative occupation time wins — even by a single minute. You do not need 2.5 hours total; 90 minutes beats an opponent who held it for 60.
Scoring
How to earn points
Simply sitting near the castle is not enough — active combat drives milestone rewards.
- Occupation points: Keep troop power inside the King's Castle or turrets over time.
- Casualty points: Take wounds or losses during castle-structure fighting.
- Enemy casualty points: Injure or eliminate enemy troops while attacking or defending structures.
Rules
Forbidden Zone & battle restrictions
Entry rules and structure limits that catch unprepared alliances.
Forbidden Zone
- Teleporting in too early forces a random relocate and removes your shield.
- Safe entry starts 1 hour before the battle.
- Once the castle shield drops, combat is open within your kingdom.
Core battle rules
- One structure at a time — either a turret or the castle, not both.
- One march inside the castle at any time.
- Defenders may send a march back and refresh their garrison position.
- Rally participants cannot send additional individual marches until the rally concludes.
Hospital & losses
No permanent losses from attacking castle structures as long as your hospital doesn't overflow. If it fills up, 30% of incoming wounded are permanently lost; the remaining 70% go to the Enlistment Office (slow Loyalty recovery). Avoid overflow at all costs.
Turrets
Turret control — the key to castle control
Whoever holds the turrets controls how much damage the castle garrison takes every cycle.
| Enemy turrets held | Casualty rate per hit | Your situation |
|---|---|---|
| 0 (you hold all 4) | 0% | Ideal — rally the castle now |
| 1 | 2% | Manageable with good batch healing |
| 2 | 4% | Still manageable |
| 3–4 | 6–8% | Critical — extremely hard to sustain |

Smaller alliances that can't contest the main castle should focus entirely on turrets. Holding even one turret earns points, reduces pressure on your allies, and disrupts the enemy offense.
Healing
Batch healing — the essential skill
Move the slider to ~30 minutes of healing, spam heal, and send alliance help requests.
Batch healing separates competitive players from casual ones. Instead of burning large speedups, slide to approximately 30 minutes worth of healing, spam the heal button, and send help requests to your alliance for near-instant continuous healing with zero speedup waste.
Formations
Attack & garrison troop ratios
Save presets before battle day — no menu fumbling under pressure.
Attack rallies — 50/20/30
All rally joiners should use the same 50% Infantry / 20% Cavalry / 30% Archers setup so the combined rally has consistent troop dispersion. Screenshot your formation screen before battle for quick confirmation.
| Setup | Infantry | Cavalry | Archers | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Balanced assault | 50% | 20% | 30% | Community standard for rally leads & joiners |
| Archer heavy | 25% | 25% | 50% | Less effective — archers take too many losses upfront |
| Equal split | 33% | 33% | 34% | Okay but suboptimal — dilutes frontline infantry |
Garrison defense — 60/20/20
After capturing a structure, immediately switch to your garrison hero and re-garrison at 60% Infantry / 20% Cavalry / 20% Archers. Keeping troops in each category ensures all three troop-type hero skills stay active.
| Setup | Infantry | Cavalry | Archers | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard garrison | 60% | 20% | 20% | Recommended — activates all hero buff categories |
| Dual type | 50% | 50% | 0% | Situational — wastes archer hero skills |
| Full cavalry | 0% | 100% | 0% | Minority tactic — sacrifices hero coverage |
Heroes
Hero picks by role
Rally leads and joiners share the same slot-1 list. Garrison leads use a separate defensive roster.
Rally leads & joiners — slot 1
For Castle Battle attack rallies, use one of these heroes in slot 1 (lead + any hero + any hero), or send troops only with no heroes. All rally joiners should match the lead's approved lineup.

Chenko
Chenko + any hero + any hero

Amane
Amane + any hero + any hero

Yeonwoo
Yeonwoo + any hero + any hero

Amadeus
Amadeus + any hero + any hero

Hilde
Hilde + any hero + any hero
Garrison leads — slot 1
After capturing a turret or the castle, switch to your garrison hero and re-garrison at 60/20/20. Use one of these defensive leads in slot 1.

Gordon
Gordon — garrison lead

Zoe
Zoe — garrison lead

Howard
Howard — garrison lead

Saul
Saul — garrison lead
Reinforcers: Follow R4/R5 instructions — send troops without heroes unless leadership asks you to fill a hero slot.
Troop tiers
| Role | Minimum recommended tier |
|---|---|
| Rally joiner | Truegold Lv. 1 (TG1) minimum |
| Early game best | T10 (Tier 10) |
| Ideal for big players | Truegold Lv. 3 (TG3) |
Truegold Lv. 3 unlocks Howling Wind (Archers), Unyielding Shield (Infantry), and Assault Lance (Cavalry) — significant combat bonuses at the top end.
Coordination
Double rally timing
Land multiple rallies within a 1–5 second window so the defender cannot heal between hits.
- 1
Assign roles ahead of time
Rally 1 (sacrifice/drain), Rally 2 (main power), optionally Rally 3 (garrison hold).
- 2
Rally 1 — drain
Approved slot-1 lead (Chenko, Amane, Yeonwoo, Amadeus, or Hilde), 50/20/30. Likely fails but drains defender troops.
- 3
Rally 2 — main
Strongest player leads with 50/20/30. This is the rally that takes the castle.
- 4
Rally 3 — garrison (optional)
Immediately behind Rally 2 with a garrison lead (Gordon, Zoe, Howard, or Saul) at 60/20/20 to hold the structure.
- 5
Coordinate via UTC + voice
Pick an exact UTC launch time. Rally captains stand side-by-side at the castle. If the gap exceeds 5 seconds, cancel and retry.
| Rally timer | Best use | Risk |
|---|---|---|
| 5 minutes | Planned castle pushes where members need time to join | Defender gets more time to reinforce |
| 3 minutes | Active war windows with pre-assigned rally joiners | Requires players already online |
| 1 minute | Follow-up hits, panic punishes, or exposed targets | Easy to underfill if members aren't ready |
Strategy
Coordinated assault & smaller alliances
Full-scale pushes and fallback plans when you can't win a straight power fight.
Full assault sequence
- 1Secure turrets first — 2nd and 3rd strongest garrison them
- 2Rally the castle once 2+ turrets are secured
- 3With 3–4 turrets held, time rally to land as turret cycle hits
- 4Stack 2–3 top players launching simultaneously
Smaller alliance plan
- Focus entirely on turrets — even one hold earns points.
- Batch heal aggressively to keep turret garrisons alive.
- Harass with solo marches on enemy turrets or the castle.
- Points are cumulative — active F2P players can reach all milestone tiers.
KvK
Shell alliances & Preparation Phase
Kingdom of Power adds cross-kingdom battles, stacked buffs, and prep-phase advantages.
Shell alliance setup
Strong players temporarily consolidate into designated alliances to maximize stacked attack buffs from alliance building upgrades and fully maxed battle tech. Players return to home alliances after the battle. Battle tech is the non-negotiable priority.
Winning Preparation Phase
Your kingdom gains the Kingdom Bonus. The cross-kingdom battle is held in the lower-scoring kingdom — you fight as the invader. Turrets held by your kingdom also grant lethality bonuses inside the castle: +8% (1), +12% (2), +15% (3), +20% (4).
Preparation
Pre-battle checklist
Individual prep and alliance coordination before the shield drops.
Individual prep
- 1
Clear and upgrade hospital
Maximize capacity before battle day.
- 2
Save formation presets
50/20/30 for attack, 60/20/20 for garrison.
- 3
Stock healing speedups for emergencies
Batch heal normally — speedups are overflow insurance only.
- 4
Equip hero gear & activate buffs
Pet skills and City Buffs before battle — easy combat bonuses many players forget.
Alliance coordination
- 1
Assign roles
Rally leads, joiners, garrison heroes, turret defenders.
- 2
Set up voice chat
Discord or in-game voice — UTC timing calls in real time.
- 3
Plan double/triple rallies
Communicate and practice if possible before battle day.
- 4
Confirm NAP terms
2.5-hour instant win vs 5-hour rotation vs FFA — agree before the event.
Avoid these
Common mistakes
| Mistake | Why it hurts |
|---|---|
| Teleporting into the Forbidden Zone too early | You lose your shield and get randomly relocated |
| Letting hospital overflow | 30% of those troops are gone permanently |
| Using healing speedups carelessly | Batch heal instead — save speedups for emergencies |
| Sending heroes as reinforcements | They don't enter the garrison roster — send troops only |
| Ignoring turrets | Turret control is the single biggest force multiplier |
| Uncoordinated rallies | A 5+ second gap between rallies lets the defender recover |
| Skipping KvK Preparation Phase | Losing prep means fighting without the Kingdom Bonus |
Cheat sheet
